Not to high jack your post but can water be considered bait? I don't think so but man I think it would be effective if things don't change here on the east coast.
If you want to go bigger I have a tractor:way:
I have water supplies that will most likely never dry up in the areas that I hunt. I think your not far from the river either but if your water is closer to a good food source I think your golden.
