Oh also just thought of this I have my corn planter set up to plant about 12 in between the seed because of the 15-in rows so probably about half as often as a standard 30-in row

I planted them a few times over the years, I've always used my corn planter John Deere 7000, I do plant them on 15-in rows because that's how my planner is set up, same population as the corn never adjusted always turned out great

My 2 cents for what it's worth. They are all very comparable new. All have little perks or advantages. I have had about every brand on market. The real test is 5 years later. Blind full of flies, blind full of mice, bowing floors, warped doors, leaking windows, wasps, winter duratios...

Sawtooth oak? Does anyone have first-hand experience with these? The leaf appears to be the same as a Shingle Oak, not sure if there's a difference? Main advantage I see is a quick production of nuts but not sure how they will do here in Iowa
