Last weekend I was checking cameras last saturday and jumped a buck laying in the creek he was about 150" 12 point I noticed he was acting funny he jumped up ran about 20 yards and just stopped stared and walked slowly away. I went back to see it he was in the creek again and as soon as I got...
I found 4 dead bucks and one dead doe today 1 in Monona the rest in Harrison. Two of the bucks found today were good sized 140-150 in deer. I have heard alot of farmers saying they are finding alot dead.
I agree with all of that I was just wondering because I didn't know if it would be that much different because a lot of people already group hunt ml season now. I agree a lot of tags get abused too much now also
Two beards is right. I move my stands at any time and sit in the right away. It never seems to matter alot of people seem to get a little too worried bout making too much of a ruckus.
just from what I have been seeing on my cameras I would say morning I have had movement all the way till 11am but nothing big all the big ones are waiting till dark but if your after does then morning is the way to go
I pulled cards on sunday and had no mature bucks even close to shooting hours had a few smaller bucks but always in morning and temps were always in lower 40s
I set my cams out after shotgun season I have 2 on trails and one on some salt they are hitting the salt hard I usually use corn but I have been to lazy to put some out. I like it cause I like to see what made it through shotgun season and seeing pics of shedding bucks is awesome!! Good Luck
