Good for you pupster, personally over the last 25 years I have shot a lot of deer and never understood how some people seemed to make bad hits on a regular basis. Then the last 2 years I made 2 bad hits and I have been humbled big time. It seems the more I practice and the better I shoot 3d, the worse I get on the real thing.

After I wrote that I was knocking on some serious wood! I also made 2 bad hits in 1 season 6 years ago. They both happened to be really respectable bucks which really added to the pain. It just about ran me out of bowhunting, but my supportive friends talked me back into the stand and I'm still there today.

I don't wish bad hits on anyone!!
