Finally got my first bird this year over in NE Iowa. Three jakes came walking in, two went walking out. What's the best way to preserve the fan for a mount? I put salt on the base for now and it's currently in the freezer. Should I take it out and spread out the fan so it dries that way? Hopefully I'll be doing the same thing after fourth season...
