It won't be long and Iowa turkey season will be upon us! Found a good article on the NWTF site about Fall turkey hunting.

Hey IowaLongbeard--
Just wanted to comment on the spectacular picture. Fall turkey hunting is great--this will be the first year in my hunting history that I am passing on the season because of lack of time with my job. I'm definitely going to miss it but hopefully I'll have to sacrifice this fall only.
Anyway-beautiful picture. When the trees are booming and the air is crisp there is nothing better then sitting in the woods waiting to ambush a longspur!!
