Northern Whitetail ( Mike Borle ) has done it again and come up with a monster piece of bone. He writes...

I was at one of my landowner's farm this afternoon shooting the breeze and he gave me a fresh brown shed from this spring that scores 80 inches typical.
Now, 80 inches is huge but it doesn't tell the tale on this shed. It is a typical 5-point with 23 inches of mass, a real great Alberta whitetail. The shed is in absolutely perfect condition, the color is dark brown with red willow staining around the base -- this is what we like to see in my neck of the woods!

I hunted the land where the shed was found extensively during the 2000 season and didn't lay eyes on this buck. He would gross around 175 typical and from what the farmer says is a huge bodied deer. The bow season is fast approaching in Alberta, so you know where I'll be sitting on opening day!

Well guys, here is a picture of that shed -- and believe me when I say it doesn't do this massive bone any justice! It just doesn't look like it should score that much in the picture, but remember that there are 3 circumferences 6 inches or better!

Tony, I just set up a great stand in this buck's territory -- I can hardly wait until the season opener!
