After reading all of the posts here I couldn't stand it any longer and went shed hunting today. Ten minutes into the hunt I found a 53" four point from last year. It was in an old grown over pasture with weeds covering most of it and just the tines sticking out. It was perfect without a chew mark on it, to say the least I was elated!! I also found a freshly shed Y and a broken off main beam from a fight I suppose. Thanx guy's, I'm hooked know.

Oh yeah forgot to mention, it was in PA. The for point is a very good buck for this area.

Congrats to you Bobcat! You will be hooked for life now. After another shed or so you will be signing up for AA meetings. "Antlers Anonymous! Jay

Mottspur I'm just east of Gettysburg in Adams County. Glad to hear the birds are gobblin. We don't have any birds here in my immediate area, sure wish we did. I have a friend who lives in southern VA in the Appalacians (sp?) who is covered up with birds, will probably head there this spring and give the gobbler season a shot.Good luck to you this spring.
