I hope everyone has a good weekend and gets to go tromping. I got off work early today and grabbed Tyler so we could get the last couple hours of daylight worth of shed hunting in. We didn't do too bad. Found 3 sheds. Two were a matched set laying about 15 feet apart. Nothing huge or even close to it. Tyler found an arrow/broadhead that was in mint condition so I'll add that to my collection. goodluck to everyone.

I hope to spend the day tomorrow looking. Two weeks ago I saw a buck with both sides still attached and I plan to spend the day searching that area.I've been stuck on 41 for the past 5 days or so and I hope to break this dry spell.Good luck to the rest of you.

We ended up with eight sheds, an arrow and a pliers for the weekend. Got to see my 4x5 again and he is still packin both sides. Kicked up two bucks in a very small willow patch. Both had both sides but the one buck pooped one side off coming out of the willow. Didn't get to actually see it fly, but it's as close as I come to seeing it. The only decent shed in the bunch is one that Tyler found. It was a right side 46 7/8 4pt. It matches up to a shed I found a couple weeks ago. It was a fresh drop and the neat thing is it was dropped no more then 30 feet from the one I found. Also the two sheds in the top left corner in the first pic had Both G1's and G3's snapped off near the main beam. They were a matched set laying 15 feet apart. He was 2.5 old buck that apparently liked to fight. Here's a couple pictures.

Looked like it would have been a very nice shed. Maybe you will find the match before the tree rats get that one. They sure can chew them up fast.
