Something very strange

I was out shed hunting earlier today and i was walking along the edge of a corn field and i came to a spot where there were a lot of old rubs and i walked in and seen 3 fresh rubs and i know they were fresh because we were in that exact same spot not too long ago and they were not there, so i kept walking and came across 2 more fresh rubs ,and again i found 2 more a little further awase. They were all on trees about an inch and a half in diamiter. the first time we went out there this year there 5 fresh rubs now these were all old looking. Does anyone know why they are doing this?

If they are rubbing this late I would have to say that they are trying to shake there antler's lose,I would be looking very carefully around that area to see what is laying around.Try to find there feeding or bedding area's and the shed's should be there soon.

I've found a few sheds around rubs this year.

yea alot of new rubs, but no antlers.
