does anyone in here shed hunting using ATV's ? well this is kinda weird one day i was out joyriding my atv,and suddenly hear a bang something hit under my atv, and couldn't figure out what it was so i went back to see what it was, and it was a nice fresh I MEAN FRESHLY dropped heavy-talltines 4 point rack. i couldn't believe it i was so happy i got it before thos damn squirrels,and mice got to it. P.S. that was my first shed!

I use one every once in awhile on a hugh peice of crp ground off the Loup river. The deer don't have any real set trails here so it lets me cover more ground. I have alot more success walking though. I had a post awhile back about using a helicopter, so I guess I'm game for about anything!lol. Jay

All the land I shed hunt is public and atv's are'nt legal to use.However if it were legal I certainly would.

do you find many sheds on public ground? i have never really heard of people finding sheds on public grounds ????

My brother and I went down to South Eastern Iowa to line up some hunting spots for turkey season and one of the kids we talked to found a 177" matched set. He didn't say whether that included any kind of spread. I don't think it did. He found 9 sheds in 3 hours using his atv. He plans on selling them.

Yes my sons and I have found 44 so far this year on public land.

wow that is awsome. shit i cant find 1 shed on private ground. haha oh well i'll keep looking
