This was probably the last big weekend for looking. We are at 57 as of tonight. We found 11 this weekend. Out of the 11, I found 4 and Tyler found 7. He found a dandy 55+ 4pt shed with an 11+ inch G2 and a 21+ main beam. I'll try and get a picture posted tomorrow night. We searched for a couple hours looking for it's mate but no luck. Tyler also found a 2 1/2 year old's 5 pt shed that matches to a shed I found a couple weeks ago. They were dropped 2 miles from each other. We got a chuckle out it as the buck dropped both sheds in road ditches. It's been a long tough shed hunting season and we put a lot of miles on. Hoping to get out a couple more times but not holding my breathe as spring's work gets under way on the farm. It was a good year for Tyler and he has learned alot on reading deer sign and figuring out where the best spots are to look. He is getting way too good at it and I usually give him 1st choice as where he wants to walks and that leaves me with the poorer spots in an area. Going to have to change that so I can find a few. LOL At the rate he is going he will be one hell of a hunter. He sure held his own this year shed hunting. Good luck to the rest of you that are still looking and congrats to the others who are done.
