These cameras are way fun. We have develope three roles of film and have had deer in almost all frames. Our last role showed two 130ish 10 pointers and I believe a curious racoon turned our camera off. I find this a great diversion and scouting tool.

i wana get one, whats the best one for your $$$ ??? images/icons/confused.gif
I would say a home brew is the best. Of course Im bias. Anyway be carefull of buying some of the cheaper ones you see in the Cabelas catalog. They usually don'tlast or work. I have been know to build some for people if you want. If you want to make your own go to jesseshuntingpage.com for more info. Email me at jvickerman@sirisonline.com with questions if you have any.

Vman built one for me and I can say that it truly is a very well built homebrew trail camera. We had a 3" rain in about an hour and winds clocked 80+ mph the other day and it was dry as a bone inside. I'm STILL holding out for a full role of exposures before I develop the film. I can't wait to see it. Thanks again Vman! images/icons/smile.gif

Bowhuntinfool,
You really should look into a homebrew. Vman put mine together as well and it is a great camera. This fall I hope to take my first bow buck with a bow I bought right here and the help of the camera vman built. I guess I should thank Iowawhitetail for putting me together with all these fine folk.
Thanks

I recently purchased one on jesseshuntingpage.com from a member in the forum called "davered1". We're very happy and it has been through some of the extremes of this summer (heat and heavy rain). He also sells them on ebay.com. If you search on "scoutpro" you can see them. Check out the link below for some of the pictures from it.
