My Grandpa gave me this shotgun last weekend. It's a Tobin Arms hammerless double barrel 12 gauge, made in the early 1900s, mfg'd for about 20 years in the USA, every part of it has a matching serial # (even the trigger guard & the wood), burled walnut stock, was blued like that swirly multi colored bluing though most of it is worn off now, 32" barrels, it is a working gun, the coolest thing is that when you break it open & close it - it automatically slides the safety on. It's a tank, well made & tight. Never heard of Tobin, thought you might like to see one :)

I assume you are referring to "color case hardening" wich is absolutely beautiful on every firearm I've ever seen it on. That's a great looking shotgun. Congrats on a great inheritance! :way:
