what does the deer population look like in southeast iowa this year?? what is the dominant species of tree in the southeastern portion of the state? are there many oaks there? thanx a lot!!

Lot's of oaks, with a big mast this year. The crops were getting out early but looks like it is gonna be wet for a while, which will slow them down a bit. We have a few deer down here, some places have a good herd while other places struggle....probably like anywhere else! Good luck in your hunting!
