Frost?

I have 36 degrees at my place up on the high flat in Western Iowa. You guys up North must have had frost, huh?

My brother from north central Iowa just e-mailed me and said 32 when he got up, didn't mention frost. This should get things rolling for opening weekend.

Definitely a lot of window scraping going on here in NC Iowa. I had a low of 29 at my place.

Here in the NW corner, we've had 2 "light" frosts already. One last week on the 21st and again this morning (25th). Both nights were lows of 30 here. We need a couple of good 20-25 degree nights to significantly reduce the bug population for opener Sunday.

Just got back from elk hunting in Wyoming most of the last three days in knee deep snow. My first impression is its going to be a cold winter. We're due!
