On September 25 I went to my hunting spot with Firedog for our first hunt of the '04 season in Nebraska. At approx. 6:05 pm this doe came walking (I mean sneaking) in on me. She stood at 13 yrds when the 100 gr. Thunderhead found it's mark. She only ran about 50 - 60 yards.
She scored 102 on the "big momma point system". Hopefully there will be more does to come and bigger ones. This will give me a great start to the 2004 season and plenty of tender meat. http://www.iowawhitetail.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
