I will be hunting safe during the Iowa gun season.Sitting in a tree stand with my bow in Missouri. No Fatalities in 2009?We have one already this year and 1st season is still 4 days away.

This is a very sad unfortunate incident.The families of all involved are in my prayers.If anything good can come from an accident like this maybe it's that there will be a few more safe hunters.

The doe hunters managed to push all the deer off the property I have been hunting onto a piece of leased ground.I saw 3 bucks (one 150'' 10) and about 8 does run out and go into the leased land.That was about 3 minutes after 6 or 8 shotgun blasts.

I bought 2 does tag this season just because I hunt in 2 different counties.I wish they had a statewide doe tag then I would only buy one to put some meat in the freezer.But both are still in my pocket. It's bad when you can hunt 40 days like I have and not have a shot at a doe.
