Scouring Rush is what we always called it at ISU and I would STRONGLY advise against planting it. It's hard to get rid of it once it's there and can spread very aggressively.

I don't know, it would have to be a mighty big otter with long legs and no claws. In over a mile that thing never broke stride... no belly slides, no milling around, just a steady walk. Might be an otter but I'm not convinced.

That could be. I would think they were way too far apart and way too big and round for an otter though. Also no visible claw marks or webbing.
