Default Project Cultipacker

Have the Cultipacker, bearings are bad time to rebuild.

First step I ordered new bearing out of Maine.

Started to tear apart, she has been sitting a long time.

Cast Rollers

Shaft

Frame

Cast Ends cleaned up

Here is one of the new bearings with misc. parts, but problem is they shipped the bearing to short. So for now everything is ready to go just waiting on the new wood bearings.

Bowdude,

I hope they send me the correct one.

I have not started to rebuild mine yet.

I will just follow your post and do exactly what you do.

Don't worry, I caught them before they shipped yours and told them you need the exact same thing.

Btw Great post.
I have the bearings, put the thing together. Still seems like I have more slack in the rollers than I would like. So ran to DesMoines Bolt and picked up some big washers, I am going to pull each end off and add some washers in.
Bearings worked great.
