Home made box calls

Do any of u guys make your own box calls. What would i need to get started? How would I actually do it? I know field and stream had and article about it, but I can't remember which one it was.

Jason, there are two good websites to help you out. they are www.callkits.com and www.grassycreekcalls.com both of these have materials and kits. Figured I would start with a kit then start turning my own stuff.
