Default Bass and Crappie

I fished last Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday and wanted to shoot out an update. 3/22 will now go down as the earliest I've ever caught a bass on a top water bait here in Iowa and I caught 2 of them that day. This weekend caught some with bloody tails, so the spawn doesn't seem too far away.

Crappies are biting good and are full of eggs, so if you like fishing the spawn about as much as hunting the rut, you had better be getting on the water. I had 65 degree water yesterday at Badger Creek.

With this warm weather you got to pick your poison.. Too much going on right now. Shed hunting, Turkey Scouting, Mushroom Hunting, Bass and Crappie Spawn.. There are only so many hours in a day.. C'mon man..

I agree did some fishing over the weekend and it was lights out. The urge to shed hunt is rapidly fading with this green up.. i guess ill just wait and find them next year.
