Default Our 2005 Iowa Shed Trip!

My wife and I just got back from NE Iowa, and we had a blast! We met a lot of people that were awesome!

My wife and I went to Hogies Chase the Adventure lodge from March 1st though March 6th for a 4 day shed hunt all though out the N.E. We saw 100s of Bald Eagles, over 200 Turkeys, over 200 Pheasants, Quail, Grouse, Coyotes and many other species we see very little of here in Maryland.
Our stay at the lodge was awesome! There were antlers in every room and every building. Hogie his wife and Moosehunter and his wife were so kind and generous, something we dont see very often in Maryland.

We found 14 sheds a dead Ten point with a broken main beam and a dead eight we left behind.

Here are a bunch of pictures of the sheds as found.

Here is a shed we found with a 12" G2

Here is a match we found about 150 yard apart, one was in corn the other in CRP

Here is a 67" half a ten

Here is a 3 point

The wife with a last minute shed before we left yesterday

Here is a sweet 57" split G2 my wife found

A snowy shed my favorite kind

Here is the gang

And here is one for SplitG3
This is Hogies 213" MONSTER

Thanks for everybody that made this happen, and we will see you next year
