Ditto on the rebar! Trial and error as with everything! My first planting they had me use bamboo stakes! I’m actually in the process of removing a bunch of them and yes a little back and forth and it pulls right out 99% of the time ready to be used again!
I used to do some burns and always did firebreaks etc. Then one time it jumped at least a 20 ft wide break and that was it for my fire burning career. Humbled me for sure! From now on I call in the professionals! Lol

Yeah, I’m curious what the rates will be we have a big farm coming out, but we want to try to re-enroll some of the steep stuff and the buffer strips along the river. It’s all in that SAFE (gaining ground) program now. Is there anything better out there? It was enrolled when we bought it.
