every 100 lbs of product of 46-0-0 has 46 lbs of nitrogen.
My conment was on different forms.
Here r some examples
1.dry 46-0-0
2. Liquid comes in 28%or 32%
3. Gas / anhydrous or NH3 is 82%
This might help.
In the farming world if something calls for x amount its refers to actual lbs per acre.
Nitrogen come in many different forms all with different amount of nitrogen per lb.
It should be just fine.
Seed can go bad that's one of the rreason lot numbers r put on each bag.
Next spring take 50 seeds and germinate them and that will tell you your answer.
