I take back all the nice things I said about turkey hunting and my boys loving it so much. After my hunts this year I’d just as soon they became extinct and i didn’t have to wake up at 4am anymore. I’d be a lot happier.

Honestly if it isn't that many acres and the payments aren't a big deal I would just do your own thing and plant what you want, make the food plots you want, and trails you want without having to jump through their hoops. I know handful of people that are not reenrolling just for those reasons...

I've received 2 emails from legislators that are favor of SF-22 but are opposed the amendment S-3055. Hopefully this gets killed fast and Senator Adrian Dickey, the one who proposed the amendment gets hung out to dry.

Similar to the actual hunting season, shed season was slow for us. Few and far between. Very disappointing for sure. Few dead heads but not anymore than usual so that is a good thing I guess.
