We have been lucky in our area the last several years. It has been dry but we received just enough timely rain to keep the crops in decent shape. No hail or bad wind. We were not so lucky today. It might not be as bad as it looked this morning. We shall see tonight.

Mahaska Monroe border. We had 1" last night and 2.5" so far today. We had quarter sized hail for 10 min so at first glance the crops look bad.

This just amazes me...how can we find who added this to the farm bill?

I buy mostly Natural Gear for the fit and function. I found some good stuff at Wal Mart years ago but not anything the last few years.

Our Mahaska county farm averages 72-76 CSR2 with the poor land enrolled in CRP so it is easy to farm. What is everyone expecting for 2026 crop rent rates? Pretty much unimproved with only the best field tiled and terraced. We run around $213
