Poll Question #9: Would you support eliminating the late doe season

I have thinking on this reflecting on season after closing. One idea that comes to mind is you can only get doe tags for the season that you have for your anysex gun tag for. I know a PILE of guys that will get a doe tag for G1/G2 and hunt with a group to be able to shoot others buck tags and...

Poll Question #12: LOT acres requirements

I believe you need to make it all or nothing. Decide the minimal acreage, let’s say 20 acres, and roll. You can’t make it an obnoxious size because you cut the guy out that started at nothing and got enough penny’s to rub together to buy their piece of heaven. You need to treat the 30 acre guy...

Poll Question #12: LOT acres requirements

I’ve fought with this one on size. I do believe 2 acres is to small but what is the correct size? Acreage size still seems to small but like stated above with roads or easements, etc. taking ground I could see 15 acres or 35 acres to allow for that.

Poll Question #6: Should cell cameras be on time delay?

All in on one dump on delay at midnight. Like a couple others I wish they’d straight ban cell cams all together if possible.

Poll Question #7: Would you support ending all seasons by December 31?

I assume this is for less stress after 3+ months of being hunted? If we’re looking to reduce stress why don’t we start bow season later? How about starting bow Oct 15th to start the stress later. I am an avid bowhunter just like the majority on here but, I also gun hunt late muzzle. Why is it...

    Walnut buyers?

Just a guess but I’d bet Kendrick in Edgewood is an exporter.

    Fertilizer Rates

    Ok that makes sense then.

    Fertilizer Rates

So are you saying all 46-0-0 is not necessarily the same weight wise depending on say bulk vs bagged?

    Fertilizer Rates

Perfect I haven’t been going scorched earth on mine then. Proof is above on 150# so I’m not sure where I got 300# from.

    Fertilizer Rates

I was using the 300# as an example which pulled from Dbltree blanked recommendation from his brassica thread. This is a great example though, unless I am reading it wrong. Farm Boy says 13 bags and Bassattackr seem to being disagreeing unless I am reading the above wrong.

    Fertilizer Rates

That is my thought as well but, with the arguments I’ve been having lately I wanted to make sure I was on the correct hill if I was gonna die on it haha. With that said, we could both be wrong and need 13 bags . Glad I’m not alone either way.

    Fertilizer Rates

Simple question that I seem to get two different answers to. When you are going to put down fertilizer, let’s say 46-0-0 for brassicas and it calls for 300lbs/acre do you put down 6 bags (50lbs each) or because 46-0-0 is 46% of the bag which is 23lbs do you put down 13 bags to hit 300lbs? This...

    Brassicas

Question, and I’m sure it’s in here on one of the 96 pages but, we frost seeded clover behind beans last year and the clover just never really got established. We did this to terminate and then put brassicas in for our fall plot. Well, like stated above clover never took for weed suppression and...

    Hunter harassment??? Stories??

I’ve never had it with deer. I’ve had my share of trespassers and poaching but not harassment. With that said your waterfowl guess is spot on. Up here is pretty relaxed though compared to down south but, it still happens up here. I was a commercial waterfowl guide in Arkansas and Missouri for...

Ridgetop Plot-to screen or not to screen

Agreed. We had 2 destination plots of about 6 acres and there isn’t a bean left. My guess is if a guy is in a highly competitive neighborhood with other plotting it could be a difference but if your the main or only game in town I believe it doesn’t matter.
