I had a handful shipped to MN from Kelly tree farm in IA last spring. 18" seedlings planted last spring - where they get full sun most are approaching the top of a 5' tree tube now in year 2 in less than good soil.

It's out of control in parts of my yard (not lawn) and landscaping in MN. That's enough for me to not want it in my fields.

In a mix with grasses and legumes, I wouldn't think twice. I'm curious why it might be a problem?

I don’t like youth seasons. Old enough to kill something, old enough to do it during the regular season structure. If you’re a good parent and “put your kids first” put your focus on their hunt during the regular season ahead of your own ambitions.
