I agree. I have one P41/BG2 and several S600's and have similar results. The 600's are slower, but the last two I built with WA lenses and SSS boards. Those are only about .5-1 second slower than my P41/BG2 and I think the WA will compensate for that. Their is no comparison in pic quality and the flash is actually too bright at times, might have to go with the -/flash setting on bait.
BTW, a 600 with a SSS board (2 sec shutter, 1 hr refresh) is quite a bit faster on the 1st pic than my BG2/600, and will snap two flash pics before the BG2 resets from the 1st one.
