When the rack is left behind, I believe 90% of this stuff can be attributed to 2 things.
1. Thrill killing. Usually done by kids and it can become a competition between them to see who kills the most. Of course they cant take the deer home cause dad would kill them so they are left to rot. This is alot more common than you would think.
2. And a pretty distant 2nd, farmers who are sick of deer damage.
I guess I dont see the fun either though.
