Hardwood11 we don't mind NRLO's at all, don't kid yourself or us this isn't about being able to hunt your own land every year because they can already do that! It's all about setting up shop (Outfitting) and charging others outragous fees to hunt in the great state of Iowa. With a little effort any NR can do that theirselves and save thousands of dollars. That's what most NR's want! Just ask the average Joe, these guys are just looking to make a buck! Bottom line is they all knew what the laws were when they purchased the land, now they want the rules changes to their advantage. If they want resident privliges move here we would love to have more folks to help dig us out of this 1 Billion dollar deficit were facing.
Ask a few farmers and landowners around the Afton area about some of the good old boys associated with FOI.
I also I find it funny they don't mention the millions upon millions that will be lost when they start shuting out even more resident hunters! We all know deer populations are controled by resident hunters not NR's, always have been and always will be that way!
