G6...you sound a little upset...why would I pay for Your land...that comment is a joke...thats my point, its a huge life changing thing to take a loan out for piece of non income returning land...so when some fence sitters r ruining it by shooting on my side all season I do have the right to protect it..and the high fence works great...not a sole hunting the other side cause they don't have anything to hunt

I agree 100%, when you have money into the land, you should be able to do whatever (as long as it is legal) to keep deer on your property. It is a big investment and personally I can't see why some hunters sit (1) foot from a fence with the tree stand angled to shoot onto the neighboring property.

That person (1 foot off the line and shooting across the line) is leeching off the guy that put countless hours into his farm with habitat improvements, food plots, trails, etc...

The leech sits on the line and shoots across the line... then leaves with his deer in hand and not one $$ or bead of sweat put out.

I guess what I am saying is that the landowner should be able to fend off the leech in any way legal, block his shooting lanes, stack bales in front of his stand, put up a high fence or whatever!
