I may be wrong on this but, I think the State of Iowa thinks its alright to sit in someone else's stand on public ground. I don't hunt public and I'm not sure where I heard that.

Yes that is the current rule. But it needs to change and I think this is a step in that direction.

I could be wrong tho.

I don't hunt public ground anymore. Never left my stands up for long periods of time. So I never had a problem.

There is also a lot of problems with people hunting fence lines. This will make it easier to contact each other and talk it over. Rather than some of the other stuff that is taking place.

It will be one of those rules that will help keep the honest people honest.
