After reading many of your posts on this site I am sure that not much does impress you. If Jay Gregory and the double bulls guys hunt with him I would think he must do ok. But then again maybe they don't know anything either by your standards. Over the last couple years he started doing some videos and is setups and land access have improved.

If you looked through my post I bet you didn't see one bad mouthing D K.

My standards aren't that high. But 40 yards from a house setup in their wind break. With a dog at the house barking none stop and I mean none stop for hours. Then two days in a row setting up 40 yards off the fence. Then being told to put a great shot on the bird because the guy on the other side of the fence hates D K and defiantly don't cross the fence. I shoot a bird and it crosses the fence and pitches off the hill. My guide was awesome and did the right thing and went and asked the landowner.

LO said "you hunt with D K?"
Guide said "yes".
LO says"If you were with anyone else I would let you recover it."

Next day D K tells my guide to take me right back to the same spot.

I guess it's my fault for not bitching or dropping the turkey with my bow.

As far as the big names I doubt he puts them in those spots. The first morning was the only time I was taken to one of the "good" spots.

I don't think my standards are out of line for a $1000 turkey hunt. Does anyone think my standards are out of line? I like DIY that way no one has to meet my standards.

Sorry for the hijack.

Like to add my last guide(D K kept switch the guide and hunter match ups:confused: ) was a great guy and was doing what he was told to do. He was new to the outfit and was from Wisconsin.
