Well last night I had 7 hens in the field with one tom following them around. They were in the fields from time I got there at 4:00 to about 7:30.
The Tom started gobbling bout 6:30 off and on clear up till he roosted and awhile after.
Haven't been out in the morning.
If the hens have eggs would they be spending that much time in the field in the afternoon?
