Sounds alot like my hunt. PIG of a 7 - wide and heavy but short tined. 12" G-2's and he would have gotten an arrow but his heavy barely P&Y horns just didn't do it for me and I still got a little vacation left to use before the end of Nov. The hunt did teach me something as I called to him with a doe bleat and grunt. He circled me within about 20 minutes and came right by at 10 yards.
