"I dont want a rifled barrel. I just want the normal barrel with the bead sights."

Sooooo, you don't want to hit what you aim at? Or you just wanna wound "em? not very fair to the animal don't ya think? rifled slugs and a smooth bore barrel is not a recipe for accuracy. I know there are people that claim their rig is. but usually some time at the range proves otherwise. and before anyone starts thumping their chest and getting all puffed up i say, let's go to the range and show me. been offering that challenge for alot of years with no takers. I wonder why? bead sites are for wingshooting and nothing more. bird barrels are for birds. some specialty smooth bore slug guns are acceptable out to about 50 yards or so, but they'll cost ya about as much as a rifled barrel model will. as far as slug cost goes, most guys i asked this year fired an average of 9 shots to 1 deer. from the shooting I heard, that sounds about right. at 40 cents a slug that's $3.60. ( $2.00 for 5 slugs=$0.40 per slug X 9 shots fired average). I fired one round at a cost of $2.60 ($13.00 for 5 slugs=$2.60 per slug).

I could rant on, but I've probably upset some egos. go accurate or go home.
