That idiot broke the golden rule of "thou shall not be a belligerent douche bag" and pissed a bunch of people off when he should have just never said anything.

If you're defending your garden/chickens I would think a simple call to your game warden explaining the situation would get you the go ahead.

I could be wrong, but I doubt that's how it's going to work. I'm guessing the OP of this thread could get in some serious trouble for shooting/killing coons outside of legal trapping season. I would also guess,

I've got a dozen in the last few weeks. I had some chickens beheaded and I went to war. Shot a few at night. The rest all in dogproof coon cuffs. Cat food works great.
