First of all, both people involved in the accident are 100% okay.
So after waiting since December 2010, I finally purchased the 2011 Sonata Hybrid a few days ago. On day 3 (yesterday), I was driving to work in the morning on the highway when the driver next to merges into my lane at 65mph. I swing the car left and she swings her right after I honked and braked. I breathe a sigh of relief and suddenly her car comes out of nowhere and hits me at a 90 degree angle.
Her car hitting mine at a parallel angle (apparently she oversteered right than left in her initial move). Her car bounces off mine, as I'm maneuvering my car into the median, I see out of the corner of my eye, her car doing a 360. Again, we were both okay.
Since it's a long weekend the estimator won't be looking at my car until Tuesday or Wednesday. On the positive side, as I waited for what was over an hour for the police officer to complete the crash report, I learned how to use my navigation system.
. I forgot to mention, the crash was deemed her fault, so her insurance will be covering the damages.
Curses! lol (I have to laugh, if not I'll be upset).
