Here is the set up. pic is with pex split to 2 diffusers. Only 1 is visible It did better with 1 diffuser because it had more air power. But I literally threw this together in minutes. Next spring I am using old soaker or garden hose with a bunch of smaller holes. For the pex I just used a screw and put a small hole every 6" on 2 sides. It will do better with smaller holes and likely way more of them. I may still experiment some this winter if I get a chance. The set up will do much better in following years also since the water levels shouldn't be so low. I got the house this fall and had a lot of remodeling to do but during a break I trenched the 400 plus feet from the machine shed and ran field tile from the gutter to the pond so the deeper water will have warmer water to help keep from freezing.
