Beans ….that field has had some issues. Normally a great field, but possibly some residual chemical problem ?

If it's just around the edges, could be soybean gall midge. Newer pest that can be pretty rough. Worst on field edges.

Or the trees sucking the moisture around the edges. Amazing how much of an effect we see here, especially during drought years…
