First time planting soybeans

I'm thinking of planting enlist beans on a 3 acre plot to help clean up weeds so I can spray both 24d and roundup.

Would you recommend it spray a dose of roundup now to kill whats there if I'm planning on tilling the area this weekend and broadcasting soybeans and dragging or should I just till, spray roundup and 24d after broadcasting seed and fertilizing?

What are your thoughts on planting and spraying?

My plan is broadcasting brassica and clover in beans when they yellow and maybe rye

If your working it to clean dirt, skip the herbicides above an put down a nice cocktail of pre emergent. Then later In year you can use your gly and enlist*

Good recommendations would you use simazine for preeminent before planting beans?

i would not spray Simizine not even sure that is on label for beans i dont think it is. If it was me i would use 16-18 oz of Metochlor which is Dual. Lots of other pre that can be used many will have a long setback to plant the next crop .

Def not. You won't see a bean!

Tons (and I mean tons) of options on pre's for beans. Talk to local co op on what they have available.
