Persimmon trees/seeds

Looking for some help on procuring either persimmon trees or seeds to start my own. I am located in Lincoln, NE and our farm is in Franklin county NE. From the research I've done so far it looks like trees sell out very fast. Starting to plan for next year and even the following year and I'm wondering if i can find trees for sale or if i should try to get my hands on seeds and grow my own from seed.

They grow wild on our farm here in mid MO. Being a touch farther to the north I would make sure you get plants or seed stock from others in your area, or those to the north to make sure they are cold hardy enough for your climate zone.

Usually have some seeds in the fall from trees growing in Mercer, MO.

Just look for coyote poop in the fall. If persimmons are around, every pile will have seeds in it.

U can order those from the Virginia state nursery for less than 1$ if you order enough. (Next year) closed for the season

The most unique seed collection strategy I’ve heard of in my life!!! I probably spot on accurate

Can get seeds online & anyone couple hours south of u will have em. For $1 above- Geesh that’s good. MO dnr nursery had em in past. Bit of a finicky tree to get established so just replant if some die. But once they get going- easy as pie & they grow fast.
