CW Fishing Thread

Got out for the first time Monday with the wife, Gideon, and friends. I was the only one to catch fish I caught two nice crappies and two bass.

Gideon loved the bigger bass.

Then we went to a pond today for a couple hours and hammered some crappies. Probably would have landed a bunch more had we not bass fished for a while.
Chase caught a slammer crappie but the picture doesn’t do it justice.

We also had the one year olds with us. Which made for some difficult fishing at points. As you can tell we had two tired one year olds by the time we got home.

It’s always fun with the kiddos. You gotta embrace the suck on not constantly fishing but it’s 1000% worth it to have the memories with them.

We went out this morning to try to test my outboard. Battery said it was fully charged but not so much when we got to the ramp. So we stopped by a different lake on the way home and ran the trolling motor and tried to catch some fish there for a couple hours. Caught one crappie is all.
