“Once” in a Lifetime

I got my first “white” coyote mounted by DK Custom Taxidermy. Now it would be once in a lifetime had I not caught another last year. I can’t wait to see it in person.

Funny thing...I too had never seen one quite so white in my life...until last night. I saw one outside in my yard at our new house, about 2 miles outside of Iowa City. Broad daylight still, running along the top of the pond dam where I have it mowed. Soooooo...Daver is going to see if he can catch up to this critter this fall/winter and see just how "white" he is, but he is definitely the lightest color I can ever remember seeing. Weird.

That's incredible. Were they all in the same general area? The odds of that many white coyote opportunities has to be astronomically low ?

Wow, I've never seen one or even heard of one being killed and I know guys who kill a lot of coyotes.
