I received an email yesterday about the new deer tag for disabled veterans, allowing them to purchase another firearm any sex tag to be able to use during any firearm season. I myself have not gun hunted in years and would be eligible for this option since I already receive a lifetime license due to already filling out the proper paperwork. I am thankful that they are looking at ways to help veterans, but not sure how I feel about allowing another any sex tag during the firearm season. In reality I could kill three bucks a season between archery and firearm season.

Tags for the 2025-26 deer season went on sale Aug. 15, and new this year, is a disabled veterans deer tag.
