Yeah that’s kinda where I’m at now, got way too much time and headache into this. I’d say it’s a fair deal, definitely not outstanding for what it is.Sounds to me like u better be getting hell of a DEAL! otherwise whats the point?
Not exactly the topic but keep in mind that this does not sound like a county gravel road. In most, if not all cases, of state paved roads the state owns the ground and has been deeded the land so the adjoining landowners do not pay taxes to center of road.I guess I’m confused here. If a state Hwy runs “through” it, what is the access issue? They won’t let you put a gate coming off the Hwy? You’ll be paying taxes to the centerline on both sides, what do they think they need at the access point, a turning lane?
I guess I just can’t picture an access issue if you are going to own both sides of the road.
