Mobile irrigation rigs

It’s a little late for this fall, but wondering if you guys have built some ingenious, mobile irrigation rigs/trailers for watering plots? I’ve done some online searching and some YouTube searches and found a few, just wondering what creative solutions the IW guys have come up with to keep things green and growing during drought years.
 
I bought a 100 gallon towable rig. It's gravity flow now, but looking for a pump to use as a fire rig as well.

In the past I've used a 275 gallon tote with gravity flow. Moved around with forks on a tractor. It just sits next to the shed now. I always thought a 3/4T pickup trailer, with that unit in it and a pump would be the ticket. Still, better for watering trees, or pumpkins than a food plot. 1/2" rain on a 1a food plot is 13,500+ gallons of water......unless you have a pond and a trash pump close to the plot to use directly, it's not feasable to do imho.

Another example: 10 ft x 20 ft pond that is 9 feet deep would hold 13,500 gallons
 
It’s very hard to move enough water with a tote and a trash pump. I’m looking at clearing a field on the lowest ground I have and buying a drill and planting more drought resistant plants. Clover has been hopeless for me the last 3 years with August and September droughts that run nearly to the first frost.

Agree & I really think it’s gotta be a pond to get the quantity you need. Best I’ve seen is trash pump with about 4-6 lines that fork off …. See if I find some examples with search. With quantity of water - a guy would need to be lucky enough to have a deep pond near that plot. Or - spend a bit of coin to doze deep ponds around farm to irrigate from. For what farms cost & are worth & how valuable it would be- it’s actually $ well spent.
