Buck bridges?

Anyone ever tried building a bridge to get the deer to cross a ditch at a certain spot to create a great bow stand? I had this ditch about 14ft wide and 6ft deep most of the deer would loop around the head witch forced them out into the field or cut about 60 yrds north to a easier place to cross . The mature bucks want to be on the down wind edge of this funnel travel route but do not really like going out into the open field to go around the ditch . There was a crossing in this spot but the deer would have to jump about 8ft to cross so I just mad it alot easier ! Think the mature bucks will use it ? Thoughts? I plan on putting a camera watching it for use time will tell !!

My GUESS…. Load that thing up with dirt & little sticks or something so looks natural & feels soft. Deer don’t like hard or un-natural things to walk on. Gravel or pavement is good example & they get off it fast.
But ya- I remember some guys in MI doing this when I was young & they shot some “bombers” doing it. Curious how this works!!

I have often considered doing something like this, but have never quite got around to doing it. I have multiple places though where this could really be a game changer. Following...

It’s got me thinking about a narrower version for snaring predators in areas where I would normally have to worry about catching deer.
I think a downed log over a steep gully would serve that purpose for you.
